Azithromycin
Azithromycin belongs to the group of glycosides with antibiotic effect. The active substance prevents translocation at the t-RNA and thus causes chain breaks within mRNA synthesis. It is used for the treatment of pneumonia, chronic bronchitis and skin/wound infections.
