100 days at Midas Pharma: Interview with Nils Flühr, Executive Assistant at Marketing & Sales
Nils, it's great to have you on the team! How did you decide to join Midas?
Since I had my first job in Frankfurt after my studies, I wanted to work closer to my home in Bad Kreuznach. The job description for my current job immediately appealed to me and I had a very good feeling from the very first team meeting with Paula Struth. After my on-site interview, I was sure that Midas was the right employer for me.
What appeals to you most about working in the assistance sector?
The assistance area particularly appeals to me because it involves a variety of tasks and challenges. It is a position in which you gain a lot of insights into the entire company and can take responsibility for certain topics, while at the same time having the opportunity to make a decisive contribution to the smooth running of the business unit or company.
The agile way of working and the variety of topics and my tasks make it particularly exciting for me.
How were your first few months at Midas? Did you settle in well?
The first few months at Midas were an exciting and instructive time. I was able to integrate quickly into the team, as my colleagues were/are very helpful and open. Of course, there is a lot of new information and processes to learn, but thanks to the support and good induction, I was able to find my feet quickly. I felt well received right from the start and was motivated to get actively involved.
If I didn't know that I only started here recently, I'd think I'd been working at Midas forever.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
My working day is very varied and diverse. A typical day involves coordinating and organizing appointments, preparing for meetings, dealing with emails and assisting with administrative tasks such as preparing reports or presentations. I am also often involved in communication between different departments. There are always new challenges that make it exciting and dynamic. That's what I like.
Describe Midas in three words:
Trust.
Expertise.
Added Value.
(Sorry, 4 words 😃)
What is your biggest challenge in your new job?
My boss's handwriting is very challenging 😉 but beyond that, of course, it's the complex content of my area of work and the wide range of products and services at Midas Pharma.
I work in a very exciting and agile environment here, so there's never a dull moment.
